Oreoporanthera (Grüning) Hutchi

Poranthera je rod z kvetoucí rostlina patřící k rodina Phyllanthaceae poprvé popsán jako rod v roce 1811.[3][4]

Je to jeden z osmi rodů v kmen Poranthereae.[5] Své nejbližší příbuzný je Pseudophyllanthus.

Poranthera je rodák na Austrálie a Nový Zéland.[2] The název je odvozen z řecký slovo, poros, "otevírání nebo póry" a latinský slovo anthera„prašník“.[3][6]

Poranthera skládá se z jednodomý nebo zřídka dvoudomý roční nebo trvalka byliny. Na prašníky řádek dehiscence nepřesahuje rámec vrchol. Nemá jasně kulaté póry, které definují skutečně poricidní dehiscence.[5]

Poranthera alpina byl umístěn do monospecifické rod Oreoporanthera některými autory, ale v roce 2007, a molekulární fylogenetika analýza matK a SVÉ sekvence ukázal, že tento druh má být vložen do Poranthera.[7]

V roce 1830 Rafinesque[8] použil název Poranthera odkazovat na velmi odlišnou rostlinu, než na kterou již Rudge použil název. Tak vytvořil nelegitimní homonymum. Názvy druhů vytvořené pomocí homonymního názvu Rafinesque:[9][10]
