Thysanotus je rod z trvalka byliny v rodina Asparagaceae, podčeleď Lomandroideae.[2] Jsou většinou původem z Austrálie s 45 z 50 známých druhů vyskytujících se v západní Austrálie sám, ačkoli několik druhů sahá na sever do Nová Guinea a Jihovýchodní Asie až na sever jako na jih Čína.[1][3]
