Die Natürlichen Pflanzenfamilien (1887–1915) autorem Adolf Engler (1844–1930) a Karl Anton Prantl je úplná revize rodin rostlin až na obecnou úroveň a často ještě dále.[1] Jako takový je součástí Systém Engler z taxonomie rostlin.

Englerovým výchozím bodem bylo to Eichler kdo byl první, kdo použil fylogenetické principy a odráží nový post-Darwinovský perspektiva, ačkoli sám Engler si nemyslel, že je.[2] Jeho upravené Eichlerovo schéma se poprvé objevilo v roce 1886 v jeho Průvodce po botanické zahradě ve Vratislavi[3] (jehož byl ředitelem).

Die Natürlichen Pflanzenfamilien objevil se ve 23 svazcích.[4] Neúplné druhé vydání vyšlo ve 28 částech (1924-1980), ačkoli Engler zemřel v roce 1930.[5] Stále je považován za jeden z mála skutečných světových Floras.[1][6]

První vydání (1887–1915)
