Daphne Walker (narozen 1930) je a Nový Zéland zpěvák populární v 50. letech. Mnoho jejích nahrávek bylo s Bill Sevesi a Bill Wolfgramm. Také duetovala s Georgem Tumahai. Jednou z jejích raných nahrávek, které se ukázaly jako úspěšné, byla „Haere Mai“, která byla zaznamenána v roce 1954 a vydána na etiketě Tanza.

Narodila se Velký bariérový ostrov.[1] V roce 1949 vyhrála talentovou výpravu a byla přijata do série 15minutových živých přenosů v rádiu 1YA s Bill Wolfgramm na ocelovou kytaru a Johnny Bradfield na kytaru. Její první nahrávka byla na labelu Tanza „Haere Mai“ v roce 1955. To se prodalo přes 40 000 kopií. Pro Tanzu nahrála více než 30 stran. „Hootchy Kootchy Henry“ se stal hitem na Samoi. Její poslední vydání bylo v roce 1966, album „Coconut Grove“. Walker trpěl tréma a zdráhal se vystoupit před publikem, upřednostňoval studiové nahrávání.

V roce 2012 jí byla udělena cena Nostalgie od Variety Artists Club na Novém Zélandu.[2]
