Robert Shirley, 6. hrabě Ferrers - Robert Shirley, 6th Earl Ferrers
Robert Shirley, 6. hrabě Ferrers (20 července 1723-18 dubna 1787) byl britský šlechtic.
Narodil se v roce 1723 v St James, Westminster, třetí Honův syn. Laurence Shirley.
Dne 26. prosince 1754 se oženil s Catherine Cottonovou (zemřel 26. března 1786), s níž měl tři děti:[1]
- Robert Shirley, 7. hrabě Ferrers (1756–1824)
- Lawrence Rowland Ferrers (1757 - 5. února 1773), který působí jako mladík v Joseph Wright malba, "Filozof přednáší na Orrery "
- Washington Shirley, 8. hrabě Ferrers (1760–1842)
V roce 1778 vystřídal svého bratra viceadmirála 5. hrabě Ferrers v hrabství[1] Dne 4. července 1781 byl vytvořen zástupce poručíka z Derbyshire.[2] Zemřel ve svém domě v Londýn v roce 1787 ve věku 63 let a byl pohřben se svou ženou v Breedon na kopci.[1]
