Pristimantis sternothylax je druh žába v rodině Craugastoridae. Nachází se na Cordillera de Huancabamba, Cordillera Occidental, Cerro Aypate, a Cerro Toronche v severní Peru stejně jako v Provincie Loja na jihu Ekvádor.[2] Je to přirozené stanoviště jsou vlhký horský les.[1]
