Melghiribacillus je Grampozitivní, tvořící spory a aerobní rod bakterií z rodiny Bacillaceae s jedním známým druhem (Melghiribacillus thermohalophilus ).[1][2][3][4] Melghiribacillus thermohalophilus byl izolován z půdy z a slané jezero z Chott Melghir.[4]
