Akademie věd v Indianě je nezisková organizace pro rozvoj vědy. Je založen na Indiana a byla založena v roce 1885.[1][2]
První schůze se konala 29. prosince 1885 v soudním domě okresu Marion, Indianapolis. Akademie byla oficiálně založena 21. prosince 1887. The Sborník Indiana Academy of Science začal dílem 1 v roce 1891, publikovaným v roce 1892 a obsahujícími články z let 1885 až 1891; od té doby vychází každoročně.[3]
