Arius leptonotacanthus je druh z mořský sumec v rodině Ariidae.[2] Popsal to Pieter Bleeker v roce 1849.[3] Je známo z tropický brakické a mořské vody na západě Pacifik. Dosahuje maxima Celková délka 21 cm (8,3 palce).[2]
