Alexiidae je rodina brouci, v podřádu Polyphaga, dříve součástí rodiny Cerylonidae.[1][2] Alexiidae jsou velmi malí, téměř napůl kulovití brouci s kyjatými anténami. Jedná se o houby, které se vyskytují v podestýlce nebo v rozpadajícím se dřevě. Rodina obsahuje jediný rod Sphaerosoma s následujícími druhy:[3]
