Termocykly je rod korýš v rodině Cyclopidae. Poprvé to popsal a později rozsáhle prozkoumal Friedrich Kiefer, který objevil asi 20 druhů.[1] Druhy a poddruhy rodu obývají sladké i brakické vody (zřídka podzemní) po celém světě, i když většina pochází z tropických oblastí.[1]
