Vážený pane John Arundell IV, narozený v Treleigh, ve farnosti St Ervan, Cornwall v asi 1340 byl anglický rytíř a jako syn Johna Arundella (III) byl dědicem rodiny, která držela velké množství půdy v Devonu a Cornwallu. Zemřel 5. listopadu 1376, utopil se u pobřeží Irska ve flotile směřující do Bretaně.[1]
Manželství a problém
Sir John IV Arundell se oženil s Joan Luscote asi v roce 1370. Byla dcerou sira Williama Luscote. Jeho žena ho přežila a provdala se za svého druhého manžela, vdovce sira Williama Lambourna.[2] John a Joan syn dědic, Sir John V Arundell by si vzal Annoru Lambourne, dceru svého nevlastního otce, za předchozí manželku.
