Regius profesor stavebnictví a mechaniky - Regius Professor of Civil Engineering and Mechanics
The Předseda stavebnictví a mechaniky společnosti Regius na University of Glasgow byla založena v roce 1840 Královna Viktorie.[1]
V roce 1872 se dotace rozšířila o odkaz Isabelly Elderové na památku jejího manžela Johna Eldera. Název křesla byl zkrácen na Regius Chair of Civil Engineering o jmenování Williama Marshalla v roce 1952, ale původní název byl obnoven po jmenování René de Borst v roce 2012.[2]
