Ophichthus menezesi je úhoř v rodině Ophichthidae (červí / hadí úhoři).[1] Popsal to John E. McCosker a Eugenia Brandt Böhlke v roce 1984.[2] Je to námořní, mírný vodní úhoř, který je známý z jihozápadu Atlantický oceán. Je známo, že bydlí v hloubce 177 metrů (581 stop).[1]
