Páni z Ayseau - Lords of Ayseau

Páni z Ayseau (x) (někdy d'Aysia) patřil k feudální šlechtě Brabant.[1]


Dějiny

Titul dostal legitimovaný syn vévody z Brabantu a patřil po generace jejich potomkům. Dominium se zmocnilo několik významných šlechtických rodů, mezi nimi rodina Brantů a dům Ghistel. V roce 1454 Philipp, vévoda z Brabantu, prohlásil, že Arnould Brant bude mít „rente héreditaire sur la Terre de Grobbendoncq“. Jeho bratr Jean zdědil výhody Grobbendoncq výměnou za pozemky Ayseau.[2]

Dominium bylo později povýšeno na Marchionate v roce 1626 španělským králem Filipem pro Rasse of Gavre, 1. markýz z Ayseaux.[3] Markýza z Ayseau se usadila na druhém panství v Brabantu. Rodiny byly pohřbeny v kostele v Ayseau, kde se nachází jejich mauzoleum.
