John Fowler Trow (30. ledna 1810 Andover, Massachusetts - 8. srpna 1886 oranžový, New Jersey) byl tiskárna a vydavatel v New Yorku.
Život
Narozen v Andover, Massachusetts, přestěhoval se do New Yorku v roce 1833. Začal vydávat městské adresáře v roce 1848. Jeho podnikání se nakonec stalo „John F. Trow & Son“, synem byl John Fowler Trow, Jr. (1850–1912). Vydavatelem se poté stal „John F. Trow & Co.“[1][2] Mezi zaměstnance patřil Peter C. Baker.[3] Po Trowově smrti v roce 1886 Trow's Directory pokračovala každoročně několik let.[4]

John F. Trow byl dědeček varhaníka Ernest Trow Carter (1866–1953). Byl to pra-pra-dědeček amerického esejisty, prozaika, dramatika a mediálního kritika George William Swift Trow, Jr. (1943–2006).
