Dějiny

První hra hraná mezi oběma školami se konala 22. prosince 1958 v roce Storrs, Connecticut. Connecticut vyhrál 76–68.^[3]

Soupeření vyvrcholilo, zatímco oba týmy byly členy Velká východní konference od roku 1979 do roku 2013. Obě školy získaly rekordních 7 Velké východní turnaje.^[4]
