Edward Brooke, 6. baron Cobham[1] (c. 1415 - 6. června 1464), pán z Manor of Cobham, Kent, byl Angličan peer.

Životopis

Jeho rodiči byli sir Thomas Brooke a manželka Joan Braybroke, 5. baronka Cobham.[2]

Byl Člen parlamentu pro Somerset v roce 1442,[3] ve stejném roce se mu podařilo získat titul jeho matky.[4] Horlivý stoupenec Richard Duke z Yorku, bojoval na Yorkské straně u První bitva u St Albans dne 23. května 1455[5][6] a na Bitva o Northampton dne 10. července 1460.[7]

Oženil se s Elizabeth Touchet (nar. 1433), dcerou James Touchet, 5. baron Audley a jeho první manželka Margaret de Rosová a měla nejméně dvě děti, John Brooke, 7. baron Cobham a Elizabeth Brooke, vdaná za Roberta Tanfielda; jejich syn, také jménem Robert Tanfield (nar. 1461), se oženil s Catherine Nevillovou (nar. 1473), dcerou Edward Nevill, 1. baron Bergavenny a druhou manželkou Katherine Howardovou a měli problém.
