Barh byl Lok Sabha volební obvod v Bihar od roku 1977 do roku 2004.
Budoucí Biharův CM Nitish Kumar byl zvolen pětkrát z Barhu (बाढ़), od roku 1989 do roku 1999. Prohrál s Barhem v roce 2004, ale ten rok vyhrál v Nalandě. [1] Tarkeshwari Sinha byl dalším významným politikem z Biharu, který toto místo zastupoval.
