Artioposthia je rod z planarians z Australasian a Indo-Pacifik zemí. Několik druhů bylo také představeno v Evropa.
Popis
Druhy Artioposthia jsou charakterizovány válcovitým hltanem a vaječníky umístěnými vpředu k muži kopulační aparát, v blízkosti mozku nebo hltanu. Kopulační aparát má řadu spárovaných žlázových orgánů zvaných adenodaktyly.[1]
Artioposthia je velmi podobná blízce příbuznému rodu Arthurdendyus, přičemž hlavním rozdílem je poloha vaječníků a tvar hltanu.[2]
